FORMAT & RULES

Competition open to 48 teams. 3 x players per team playing 2 x bowls 2 x sets of 4 ends - No dead ends RE - SPOT the 'jack' on the 'T'

All players bowl alternately from the same mat position. (no skips) Each rink will have the services of 1 x team manager at the ‘mat’ with 1 x club member at the ‘head’ providing assistance and doing all measuring. Team manager and / or coach will be allowed to encourage and support their own team from behind the rink. Players cannot transfer between playing positions during the game. Players can transfer playing positions only at the start of a new game.

Each Set: Win = 2 points Draw = 1 point Loss = 0 points - Shots Count Semi-finals will take the form of a - 'shoot-out' - The best of 3 x ends with the first team to win 2 x ends - (drawn ends replayed.) Final - The best of 5 ends with the first team to win 3 x ends - (drawn ends replayed.)

Conditions

Open to all primary students from Queensland / N.S.W. / A.C.T. / Victoria / Tasmania

Team members must be from the same primary school. Teams can consist of any Year any Gender combination.

Attire: Club / School / Team designed uniforms permitted.

Bowls: Players to provide own bowls.

Footwear: Bowls shoes / jogger style shoe permitted - no heavy tracks.

BBQ Lunch: Provided on all 3 x days for players and managers.
