FORMAT AND RULES

'INTER-SCHOOL' COMPETITION FOR YEAR 7 - 11 STUDENTS
(Maximun 12 x teams enter the Regional Finals.)
Team Entry: FREE

Lunch: After 2nd game
BBQ lunch provided by the Host Club free for players and managers.
(Players can bring their own lunch - if required)

Welcome: 9:45am ... Game start 10:00am ... Finish 2:00pm
Greens open from 9:00am for roll-ups.

FORMAT:

3 x players per team playing 2 x bowls - No trial ends.
No dead ends jack re-spotted on the 'T'
Game consists 8 x ends or 50mins whichever comes first.
Game starts and finishes by the bell - complete end if in play.

Round Robin. Winner of each pool plus the best performed team if
required progress to the semi-finals - shots count.
Semis and Finals best of 3 x end 'shoot - out' ... First to win two ends.

RULES:
• The competition is open to students from Year 7, 8, 9, 10 & 11.
Any Year any Gender combination.Team members must be from the same school.
• Players can transfer playing positions only at the start of a new game.
Each team can have one (1) reserve player.
• Substitutes are permitted and under the control of the game organiser.
• Players must wear appropriate footwear, bowls shoes or joggers, no heavy tracks.
• All teams must be attired in their school sports uniform.

HIGH SCHOOL COMPETITION

The ‘Let’s Play Bowls’ committee invites: Government, Independent and Catholic high schools to our local ‘inter-school’ bowls competition.

School sport organisers to contact their local bowling club to arrange a suitable coaching and training sport session.

To enter:

Form teams x 3 players. Students encouraged to join a weekly bowls sport period during Term 1 and / or Term 2 or attend practice ‘after-school’ at the local bowling club.

open event for YEAR 7 - 11 Students - ANY YEAR AND any GENDER COMBINATION - PLAYING 2 X BOWL TRIPLES.
