LET’S PLAY BOWLS (LPB) – SCHOOL BOWLS 2026

Clubs interested in attracting school students and families to their club are encouraged to contact us via email: letsplaybowls@gmail.com

At Let’s Play Bowls - ‘School Bowls’ we deliver both primary and secondary ‘inter-school’ competitions. Please read our entire website after which, make a suitable day / time for a mobile call to discuss your Club’s bowls development program.

Our main focus is to help and support Clubs - engage local students through school sport programs and / or after-school coaching and training initiatives. (See below one of many example training docs in ‘Word’ for clubs to adapt)

💥 We advertise our School Bowls initiative to all your local (identified) schools.

💥 Clubs are invited to advertise (using our promotional material) to their respective communities.

💥 Coaching Commitment

Host Clubs support and engage local school students through coaching and training.

💥 Competition and Participation

Clubs / Schools / Parents may enter teams via the website: (use School Entries – ‘Enter Here’ icon.)

  • Unlimited team entries permitted

  • Entries close last day of Term 2

  • By the end of August, Clubs nominate their best team(s) for potential selection in the Regional / District October Finals (see main ‘flyer’)

Please Note: All dates are flexible depending on the geographical position of the Club.

Become a Host Club

Clubs are invited to ‘host’’ School Bowls by providing the following information.

Clubs must provide:

  • Club contact name and position.

  • Best email address.

  • Mobile number.

All participating clubs will automatically become part of the School Bowls Network (SBN)

Clubs joining the SBN will receive:

  • Regular articles and ‘best practice’ strategies and information. 

  • Access to promotional resources via the ‘Advertising’ icon - via website menu.

  • Ongoing support to grow school and membership participation.

Club Support

An annual subscription (donation) of $250 applies. This contribution supports our administration, promotion, and competition delivery - it’s our only source of income. (We do not seek sponsorship nor financial assistance from external third parties.)

Sponsorship Opportunities

SBN members are encouraged to utilise our promotional materials to seek local community sponsorship. All funds raised should be directed towards supporting your Club’s junior development program.
