CLUB INFORMATION

The Let’s Play Bowls (LPB) committee invites Bowling Clubs to participate in our planned
Primary and Secondary school competitions.
The LPB committee is a group of retired teachers & bowlers inviting school students to
our Clubs to participate in bowls - through two school based - structured competitions.

• The secondary school competition is an ‘ínter-school’ event for students: Year 7,8,9,10,&11.
• The primary competition is an ‘after- school’ event for Year 5 & 6 students.

Clubs:
LPB advertises to all nominated primary and secondary schools.
Participating Clubs will be encouraged to advertise extensively throughout their local community.

Regional / District Secondary School Competition:
• The HS competition requires 1 x green at the October Finals (max. 12 teams … 6 x rinks) (see Format and Rules)
Regional / District Primary School Competition:
• The PS competition requires 1 x green at the October Finals. ( max. 12 teams … 6 x rinks)
6 x club members will be required, acting as ‘markers’ - doing all measuring. (see rules)

Awards:
Prize Pool consisting of 1 x perpetual trophy & 1 x set of medals supplied by host club.

Sponsorship:
Clubs seeking sponsorship ... under the 'School Bowls' banner ... is to be retained by the Club
for their junior development program.
